Ian Brown arrested
Ian Brown, the former Stone Roses frontman, has been arrested on suspicion of assaulting his wife earlier this week in Kensington, UK.
Police were called to the couple's home at 8am on the morning of November 2 after neighbours reported a disturbance.
A Scotland Yard spokesperson stated, "On arrival, a 37-year-old woman made an allegation of domestic assault and a 46-year-old man was arrested at the address and taken to a West London police station."
Brown was later released on bail but is set to return next month pending further investigation into the incident.
This is not the first time the troubled singer has had a run-in with the law. In 1998 he was jailed for four months after threatening to cut off a British Airways stewardess's hands after she accidentally offered him some duty-free alcohol.
Brown fronted the Stone Roses for 12 years before their split in 1996.
