Big Day Out sideshow bedlam

The Mars Volta have announced three sideshows to coincide with their Big Day Out appearances. Returning for their fourth visit to Australian shores, a six-piece incarnation of the band will be playing their own shows in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne in January. The El Paso band are touring on the back of the release of their fifth album, Octahedron. Tickets for all shows go on sale November 16.
